Relaxation

If you are simply looking for a little ‘me-time’, need to recharge your batteries, your body, your mind, then hypno-chill is for you!

Hypno-chill is just what it says on the tin: it is relaxation, with a hypno twist…

It will chill you, it will relax you…

Why relaxation?

Research has demonstrated that relaxation can have many benefits, such as increased energy, decreased muscle tension and fatigue, improved sleep, low blood pressure and decreased pain…

And what’s more, it’s a natural feel-good!

The Hypno-Chill Programme

As much as possible, the techniques offered are based on research and clinical evidence.

Hypno-chill provides 3 types of relaxation sessions:

Session 1:

This session is heavily influenced by the autogenic training; an evidence-based relaxation technique created by Johannes Heinrich Schultz in the 1930s.  When doing the autogenic training, adopt a passive attitude: one of just letting go. A detached but alert state of mind.

Let yourself go…

Session 2:

This session is all about breathing.

Breathing, we all do but, sadly, not as well as we should. When we get stressed, worried or anxious, our breathing becomes faster, and this creates hyperventilation. The side effects of over-breathing are multiple: from heart palpitations to excessive sweating, dizziness, blurred vision and so on…

Learning to breathe properly is key to relaxing…

Session 3:

This session will guide you through a visual imaginary exercise.

Imagining and focusing on pleasant, positive and healing images will provide you with everything you need to become agreeably relaxed.

Please note: This technique requires practice and concentration for the visual to be effective.

Another well-known relaxation technique…

Do I need to do the whole programme?

Hypnosis is a lot about practice and repetition. The more you practise, the better and more beneficial it becomes. But you do not need to do all the sessions. Choose what you prefer, all or either of them – it really is up to you.
